Office-Based Surgery Centers

AAAHC has created a Handbook especially for small office-based surgery practices. Policies, procedures and current Standards plus guidelines for how to apply them are found in the Accreditation Handbook for Office-Based Surgery including Review Guidelines. 

While this tool is focused on organizations with four or fewer physicians/dentists and two or fewer operating/procedure rooms, larger office-based surgery centers may still apply for accreditation. The applicable accreditation Standards do not change based on organization size.
