Curated Experience Delivered Through 1095 Engage Technology

With the launch of 1095 Engage earlier this year, AAAHC transformed the client experience with tailored, relevant Standards that are specific to the organization. Now, clients provide inputs and 1095 Engage delivers a focused set of relevant AAAHC Standards.

The 1095 Engage system curates the accreditation process for each organization by taking what AAAHC knows about the organization through its Profile and applies this information to take the guessing game out of “which Standards are applicable.”

In the v43 handbooks, all program Standards were released in categories, aligning similar concepts to streamline the onsite survey process. Within each category, there are two types of Standards: Universal and Selective. Universal Standards apply to all organizations seeking or maintaining accreditation or certification with a specific program. Selective Standards apply based on the relevant services or specialty information pertaining to the organization as provided in the organization’s Profile.

Curation results in a focused set of Standards that are Universal to the program plus any Selective Standards that apply based on the organization’s Profile information. For example, if an organization applies for Ambulatory Accreditation with Medical Home and indicates that it provides behavioral health services in its Application/Profile, it will receive all the Universal Standards specific to the Ambulatory Accreditation with Medical Home including all Standards in the Behavioral Health (BEH) category. Curated Standards display in the organization’s 1095 Engage portal and are also used by the Surveyor during the onsite survey. As organizations makes updates to their Profile or when a new Standards version is released, the Standards are re-curated to reflect updated information. Therefore, it is essential that organizations ensure ongoing Profile accuracy throughout the accreditation / certification cycle. Learn more about the 1095 Engage experience here.
