Public Comment Period

Register your opinion

AAAHC invites health care professionals and stakeholders to review and provide feedback on proposed revisions to the v44 Standards for ambulatory health care and health plan programs. The Public Comment period will be open from February 28, 2025, to March 29, 2025. This initiative underscores AAAHC’s commitment to ensuring that its Standards reflect current best practices and support high-quality, patient-centered care.

AAAHC continuously works to strengthen its accreditation Standards by incorporating diverse perspectives from the health care community. The proposed revisions focus on improving patient outcomes by enhancing patient education, data collection, and scope of services while ensuring that cultural and religious considerations are respected. Additionally, the updates emphasize supporting diverse communication preferences to foster more effective patient-provider interactions.

Health care professionals and stakeholders are encouraged to review the proposed v44 Standards revisions and submit feedback through the Public Comment form linked from this page starting February 28, 2025.

AAAHC also urges participants to share this opportunity with colleagues and professional networks to ensure broad and diverse input.
