AAAHC Quality Roadmap provides a report on accreditation survey results
The AAAHC Quality Roadmap provides a thorough analysis of data from previous surveys conducted using current Standards, and helps support ongoing quality improvement throughout your accreditation cycle. In 2026, AAAHC incorporated client feedback to develop two separate versions of the Quality Roadmap. The primary care version contains key findings specifically relevant to practitioners in that field. The comprehensive version provides an analysis of key deficiencies across all health care settings surveyed.

Quality Roadmap highlights
This year’s Quality Roadmap provides a thorough analysis of data from surveys conducted between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. The report includes survey performance results from both v43.1 and v44 AAAHC Standards, with all findings mapped to the current v44 Standards framework to improve consistency, comparability, and usability of the 2026 Quality Roadmap data.
Please take advantage of these insights and use our broad portfolio of educational programs and quality improvement resources to improve preparedness and patient outcomes at your organization. Find those resources here.
The 2026 Quality Roadmap serves as a consultative resource to help ambulatory care organizations strengthen compliance, improve quality every day, and reinforce that accreditation is a continuous 1,095-day journey rather than a point-in-time survey event.
Use the Quality Roadmap as a tool to facilitate quality improvement by taking the following steps:
- Compare these findings to your last onsite survey report and your annual self-assessment.
- Understand the most common deficiencies relevant to your setting.
- Annually and in preparation for your next Survey, review your policies, procedures, and practices to ensure they reflect best practices and compliance to relevant AAAHC Standards.
- Leverage AAAHC Toolkits and other resources to improve and ensure quality.
- Share and discuss the findings with others within your organization to drive understanding and effective decision making on QI studies or other corrective actions that may be necessary.
We applaud the steps our organizations are taking to ensure Standards compliance and patient safety are at the forefront of their day-to-day operations.
