Thank you for visiting our website. This Privacy Policy describes how the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (“AAAHC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information through our website (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will apply on a going-forward basis and will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

This Privacy Policy applies only to this Site. If you visit other websites through links on our Site, please review their privacy policies.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you interact with the Site. This may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and professional or organizational details. We collect this information when you complete forms, communicate with us by email, sign up for communications, or otherwise submit information through the Site.

We also collect information you provide when interacting with tools available on the Site, including our artificial intelligence chatbot (“AI Agent”, “Bernie”, or “Betty Bot”), such as questions, prompts, or other content you submit.

In addition, we may automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar tracking technologies. This may include your browser type, device information, pages visited, and general usage patterns, which help us understand how visitors use the Site and improve functionality.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to respond to your inquiries, fulfill your requests, and provide services or information you have requested. We may also use this information to improve our programs, enhance the functionality of the Site, communicate with you (including newsletters or updates where appropriate), maintain system security, detect or prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

AI Tools and Chatbot Interactions

The Site may include an artificial intelligence (“AI”) chatbot feature (“AI Agent”, “Bernie”, or “Betty Bot”) designed to assist users with customer support, information, and navigation. When you interact with Betty Bot, you may voluntarily submit information, including personal information, through your questions, prompts, or other inputs (“AI Input”). You are responsible for the content you provide.

Information submitted through the chatbot may be used to respond to your requests, improve the performance and accuracy of the tool, and develop aggregated or de-identified data to enhance services and technology. Betty Bot is operated by a third-party service provider, BettyBot, LLC, and information you submit may be processed and stored by that provider on our behalf.

You should not submit sensitive personal information through the chatbot, including protected health information (PHI), financial information, or other highly confidential data. Responses generated by the chatbot are automated and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific circumstances.

Your use of the AI Agent is also subject to our Terms of Use, which provide additional information about how AI-related data may be used.
